Craft
It all starts with an idea.
From the first idea to CAD, prototypes and testing in the kitchen, every shape is developed and refined before becoming part of Foodshapes.
THE PROCESS
The idea is only the beginning. Every shape is tested, refined and developed with the plate in mind.
The idea
It starts with an idea. Inspired by a dish, an ingredient or a detail on the plate.
The model
The idea takes shape in CAD. Proportions, dimensions and details are developed and refined.
The prototype
The first prototype is printed and evaluated. The shape is adjusted and refined until it feels right.
The kitchen
The finished mold is tested in the kitchen. The final step before becoming part of the Foodshapes collection.

The maker
Built from a life in the kitchen.
I’ve spent more than 20 years in professional kitchens, from winning Årets Kock in 2016 and captaining the Swedish Culinary Team, to representing Sweden at the Bocuse d’Or and creating the menu for the Nobel Prize banquet in 2022.
Foodshapes grew out of that world. It started with creating shapes for my own plates, developing and refining them through competition and in the kitchen. What began as tools for my own cooking eventually became something I wanted to share with other chefs.
BOCUSE D’OR
Where Foodshapes began to take shape.
Competition has always pushed me to look closer at every detail on the plate. During my journey to Bocuse d’Or, I began creating my own shapes and tools to bring ideas to life in the kitchen.
That process of designing, testing and refining became the foundation of Foodshapes.
Foodshapes
Created from a chef’s perspective.
